Summary
In two companion stories by Rosemary Wells, Felix the guinea pig deals with the common anxieties of early childhood. Young children identify with Felix's plight after he eats too many chocolate blimpies or worries that the big boys will bully him. When Felix frets about going to the doctor, having a birthday party or going to sleep, children will understand his concerns. Appealing illustrations create a comforting world in which these everyday anxieties are put in realistic perspective. Felix feels better and its sequel Felix and the worrier assure children that everything really does turn out all right
