Summary
Aarti, the only daughter of a wealthy, doting father, falls in love and marries a young taxi driver, leaving her luxurious city home for Raja's simple rustic abode. Aarti's scheming stepmother strives to estrange father and daughter so that she herself might inherit her husband's riches. Misunderstandings also develop between Aarti and Raja so that she feels abandoned, but near tragedy is averted and the miscreants are awarded their just deserts
